These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pantry Butler website at pantrybutler.aiand the Pantry Butler application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Pantry Butler ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier of Pantry Butler includes receipt scanning, inventory tracking, deal browsing, and basic shopping list features at no cost. The free tier is subject to household member limits.

4.2 Smart Pantry Subscription

The Smart Pantry subscription provides access to premium features including AI-powered predictions, expiration alerts, automatic shopping lists, and unlimited household members. The subscription is billed monthly at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

4.3 Billing

• All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

4.4 Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for the Smart Pantry subscription. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

4.5 Referral Program

We may offer a referral program that provides credits or free subscription time for successful referrals. Referral program terms, eligibility, and rewards are subject to change. Abuse of the referral program (including self-referrals or fraudulent accounts) may result in forfeiture of rewards and account suspension.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including receipt images, shopping lists, and household data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your household.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Pantry Butler and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

The Service integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Stripe, Amazon Web Services, and others. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Deal information displayed in the Service is sourced from third-party providers and publicly available store flyers. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but:

• Deal availability, pricing, and terms are determined by the respective retailers and may change without notice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any deal information.
• Price history and savings calculations are estimates based on available data and may not reflect actual in-store prices.
• Always verify prices and availability at the point of purchase.

Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence, including purchase predictions, restock recommendations, expiration estimates, and recipe suggestions. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and:

• May not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation
• Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for food safety decisions
• Does not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PANTRY BUTLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pantry Butler, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
